# Connecting to a wallet account

### Ensure that your wallet supports the Energy Web X chain

To ensure that your wallet supports the Energy Web X chain, please check if it is one of the supported networks in your wallet.

If not, please refer to below details to add Energy Web X as a custom network in your wallet:

* **RPC URL:** <wss://public-rpc.mainnet.energywebx.com/ws>
* **Name:** Energy Web X
* **Token Symbol:** EWT
* **Network Type:** Substrate
* **Block Explorer:** <https://energywebx.subscan.io/>

### View account details on explorer

Click on the `View on Explorer` button to check the wallet account in the official EWX Explorer.&#x20;

This action will open a new tab to show wallet account details on [Subscan](https://energywebx.subscan.io/).

### Switch accounts

In order to be able to switch accounts, ensure that accounts are enabled for connection to the EWX Staking Web App in your wallet. Below are examples on how to do so.

1. Click on this `Connect` icon<br>

2. Select the accounts to be connected to the EWX Staking Web App and click on the `Confirm` button<br>

3. Hover on the `Connect` icon again and the number of accounts connected will be displayed<br>

1. Click on the `Connect Accounts` button\ <br>

2. Tick the checkboxes of accounts to be enabled and click on the `Connect` button<br>

3. The accounts will automatically get enabled for connection to the EWX Staking Web App

Click on the `Switch Account` button to switch wallet accounts.

Choose the account to switch to and automatically the web app connects the selected account.

### Disconnect

Simply click on the `Disconnect` button.
